Cleaning of cave Vodna 1 and cave Vodna 3 near Klinja vas

Two caves (cave Vodna 1 and cave Vodna 3) near Klinja vas were cleaned up on April 17, 2016. Action was attended by 19 cavers, members of Society for cave research Ljubljana and one guest caver from Croatia. They collected almost 10 m³ of municipal waste, 1m³ asbestos plates and 2 accumulators. One of the batteries was even pulled out of the water. Washing machine and wood stove were also found. Although it was not planned project activity, cavers cleaned the inner part of the cave Vodna 1. In spite of the high water level, they removed quite a lot of waste.
