Windstorm devastates Eagle’s trail in Kočevska Reka, the trail remains closed until further notice!

A powerful windstorm raging across Kočevsko on 11 and 12 December took toll on the new Eagle’s trail in Kočevska Reka. Field checkup shows catastrophic consequence. The 950 m route is currently blocked by 10 fallen trees. Part of the trail is severely damaged with part of the trail being literally  ripped away. Fortunately, all the info boards and didactic aids remained undamaged. Visiting the trail under these conditions is too dangerous. The trail remains closed until further notice.
