Didactic path

For the purposes of promotion and raising awareness among the inhabitants and visitors to the Kočevsko region, a didactic path with informative boards and didactic accessories will be arranged on the Lake of Kočevje and by the local Slovenia Forest Service premises allowing the visitors to develop skills in observation, classification, analysing, comparing and other cognitive abilities. Through learning games and ecosystems the visitors will be able to learn more about the life of target species and habitat type as well as about forest and underground ecosystems in the area of Natura 2000 Kočevsko site. From the top, where a didactic scale model of the Eagle’s nest will be created (situated by the local Slovenia Forest Service premises), it will be possible to observe the nest of the white-tailed eagle with binoculars.
