Ground work for educational nature trail at Reško lake carried out according to plans

We are announcing that construction work regarding the arrangement of educational nature trail along the lake in Kočevska Reka is underway. The trail will be 820 m long and will for the most part the extend to 1.3 m.

The terrain is very varied, sometimes very steep and rocky. Due to the complexity of the terrain , it is necessary to mine without material distribution. The material is continuously incorporated into the trail. Installation is carried out by hand and machine mini excavator. In the transition of existing routes to new route it will be adapted that the transition is as smooth and continuous as possible.

Once all work is completed the walking surface will be sprinkled with wooden chips. In the following months the trail will be equipped with information boards and didactic elements.
