Third external LIFE monitor visit

On 14 and 15 September 2016, third  LIFE Kočevsko monitor visit took place. Progress of our work was presented to mag. Julijana Lebez Lozej, Ministry for the environment and spatial planning representative, and external LIFE monitor, dr. Mitja Kaligarič. On the second day, field trip was organized. Drafts of the project promotion movie and the information terminal were presented, as well as the beta version of the white-tailed eagle’s nest video-surveillance system at SFS Local unit in Kočevska Reka. We visited locations around lake Reško, where bird hides will be built. We also presented the forest in valley of Kolpa (near Nežica creek), where eco-cells will be established in the near future.
