Summer in Kočevski rog

On June 02, as a part of the Summer events in Kočevski rog 2018, we presented the results of the LIFE Kočevsko project. The presentation took place on the ridge of Kočevski rog, where several forestry measures were implemented during the project. Participants learned about forestry measures for target species, their purpose, special attention was paid to the natural development of the forest and deadwood.

This year, we varied the event with a work campaign. With the help of the participants, we revitalized a water spring, so that the water will again be available to many forest inhabitants.
