As part of the annual event Summer in Kočevski rog 2017, LIFE Kočevsko team organized a field trip to Kopa virgin forest, the smallest virgin forest in Kočevsko region with area of 14 ha. Kopa virgin forest is home to a pair of white-backed woodpeckers.
