First sightings at the winter feeding ground for the white-tailed eagle

In January, we started placing 1st category carrion to the white-tailed eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla) feeding site near Kočevska Reka. Since food sources for the pair of eagles in winter are scarce, additional food will be provided until end of February.

Even though the white-tailed eagle pair hasn’t visited the site, there has been many other visitors interested in what the platform has to offer. Check the video below!
