With lecture “We must protect our water resources”, we attended European Heritage Days

On 09.03.2017 we attended European Heritage Days in Koprivnik, which this year was held under slogan “Water – from myth to architecture”. The purpose of the European Heritage Days is to promote public interest in the protection of cultural and natural heritage. As part of our lecture “We must protect our water resources”, we presented key findings from the inventory of contamination status of caves and groundwater quality in Kočevsko region, main goals and activities of LIFE KOČEVSKO project and emphasized the importance of protecting this fragile underground ecosystem.
