Education of Hunters in Loški potok

Slovene Forestry Service and external contractor Slovene Hunting Association organized a seminar for hunters in Hrib in Loški potok on 8^th  of April 2015. The aim of the seminar was to present the project LifeKočevsko, the foreseen activities for improvement of capercaillie (Tetrao urogallus) habitat and the methodology of capercaillie census in the Kočevje project area. Participants came from several local hunter associations: LD Loški potok, Draga –Trava, Sodražica and the neighboring LD Tetrieb in Croatia. This seminar aimed to attract volunteers for the capercaillie census to be carried out in the second half of April and beginning of May 2015 in LifeKočevsko project area.
