Educational nature trail at Reško lake

In between 2003 -2004 the Institute for Forest OE Kočevje set up 695 m long circular route in The forest reserve Reško jezero. Trail is marked, narrow, unfurnished and as such is unsuitable for a visit, particularly larger groups of visitors. For the purposes of promotion and awareness of residents and visitors to the area Kočevsko there will be created didactic nature trail along Reško lake. Project plans are to expand existing routes to 1,3 m width which will allow normal access onto the learning path. In certain sections of the learning path the necessary work for leveling the terrain will be conducted.

To complement the planned trail additinal part of the trail in the length of 232 m (width 1.3 m) will be conducted. In the context there will be 10 information tables and 8 teaching aids positioned along the trail.
