State-owned forest conservation measures discussed at the meeting with selected contractors

Recinko d.o.o. and Gozdno gospodarstvo Novo mesto were selected as our contractors in public tender procedure. They will implement some of the conservation measures in state-owned forests such as thinning of trees with tree girdling, ground preparation works for feeding fences and planting of seedlings.

On Wednesday, September 20, a meeting with their representatives was held at SFS Kočevje and implementation of conservation measures was discussed. Correct process of tree girdling was demonstrated in order to provide the best results.
